Position Summary – Setter Role

I’m currently building a high-performance sales team to scale my business.

I sell a premium one-to-one coaching program that helps photographers go full-time.

I’m looking for A-players who are ready to bring energy, discipline, and drive into the team.

You’ll be working alongside a highly motivated and trained setters and closer who’s ready to convert the right leads.

Your mission:

Engage in meaningful conversations with leads from my audience (paid ads and content), build a genuine connection, qualify them accurately, and move them toward a call.

You will also be expected to directly engage with certain leads, with the goal of guiding them all the way to a sale, which directly impacts your earnings.

Commission Structure

This is a commission-based position with high earning potential.

Our offer is currently priced between €3,000 and €3,500 (or $3K–$3.5K), and we plan to gradually increase it up to €5,800.

As a setter, you earn between 5% and 10% commission per sale, depending on the source of the lead:
– 5% for leads coming from paid ads
– up to 10% if you directly engage the lead and convert them

This means you are paid based on your ability to start smart, human conversations and move the right people forward in the sales process.

Commissions are paid a few days after the client completes their payment.

The more qualified calls you generate, the more you earn — with opportunities to grow into other roles if you prove your value.

Training on our leads

It’s very important that you learn how to identify leads who have the potential to invest in high-ticket coaching to become full-time photographers.

Make sure to go through this training carefully, understand it well, and then complete the test.

This step is critical, because a good setter knows how to quickly assess whether a lead is worth pursuing or not.

Can You Spot What’s Wrong with These Profiles?

As a setter on the team, you should immediately recognize that

there’s no point in reaching out to someone like this.

Here’s a photographer who takes car photos, they’re decent, but this is not our target. We’re specifically looking for people who can generate paid bookings from portrait sessions they’ve already done. As a potential prospect for our program, this one’s a 2 out of 10.

Here is a very amateur profile, far too amateur. These are people taking photos of themselves in the street, from far enough away that you can barely see them. This is not a good profile, they will not become full-time photographers.

This profile is more focused on animals and nature. The photos are ok, but this person is not a serious prospect for us.

Here is a profile with vintage, artistic portrait photos. The people photographed have real presence, it is a very good profile, and it is definitely worth starting a conversation to see if this person makes a living from their photos.

Understanding Exceptions in Lead Qualification

Here is an example of a lead who ended up buying the coaching.

As you can see, their profile only showed nature and landscape photography, yet they still invested in the program.

We then worked together on portraits.

This is a good example showing that not having portrait work on a profile is not necessarily an issue.

This is where the difficulty lies, sometimes, it’s better to take the chance rather than miss an opportunity.

Identifying High-Value B2B Leads

What you need to understand is this:

When you see a lead with high-quality photos of restaurants, stores, or products — and they also create video content — this is a very strong lead for us.

Through the coaching, we help them develop retainer contracts with businesses. This is called B2B.

So pay close attention:
If a lead has photos of restaurants (glasses, food, ambiance, etc.) and mentions video on their profile, this is a very strong potential client for us.

When They’re Too Good… They’re Not a Prospect

When someone is too good or has too many followers, there is no point in contacting them, because our program will not bring them any value.

You can see photos of him shooting in a studio, there are many professional models on his profile, and it’s clear he’s already making a living from photography. So there’s no need to reach out to him. If we had to give him a score, it would be 15 out of 10, which means he’s way above the level we’re looking for.

Keep in mind : we’re looking for talented photographers who want to go full-time.

When reviewing each profile, ask yourself the right questions. A good prospect should meet the following criteria:

- They take beautiful portraits (not just random snapshots or travel photos).
- Their photos show enough talent to potentially lead to paid photoshoots.
- They are not already too advanced — we don’t work with photographers who clearly don’t need our help.
- But they should also have real potential — we don't accept photographers who have no chance of making it full-time.

Your mission: spot the ones who are in the "sweet spot" — talented but not yet successful.
